$585M SF Laguna Honda Hospital Reopens Green

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― San Francisco's newly constructed $585 million Laguna Honda Hospital will open Saturday touting the sharpest environmental credentials of any hospital in the state.

The city-owned hospital's three new buildings were awarded a silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED, program on June 18, according to hospital officials.

LEED certification is considered the industry standard for green building. Read More...
